Twilight Glade Runners

Retired!
Race:  Wood Elf
Coach:  Mohamed
Description
We were a newly emerged team out of the Twilight Glade, however we bit the grass rather hard in the beginning of season 13, 3 matches and 6 deaths did not look all that well. Team is now getting recontructed with the next batch of winners from the glade. We are ofcourse going to continue to do what we do best, score Touch Downs while looking good.

Sep. 30th, 2004 - old news
A few weeks ago we had a great game Twilight Glade Runners - Fredsduerne (season XIII, round 2), with the rather unfortunate deaths of Koameurun and Authalon. Still we made no less than 4 touchdowns and 3 of these were by now legendary team star Sitheiren, the forth was made by Kerakhn. Our opponents bull centaur Brutalis made Fredsduerne's only Touch Down of the match.

On the cassulty side it was completely opposite of the Touch Downs, our Sitheiren sent one Fredsduerne player of the field but he was ready for the next game.
Stig Tøfting sent one of our lineelfs of the field for the rest of the game, and the fans of Fredsduerne sent two more lineelfs of the field by throwing large rocks down on the field, we have ofcourse filed the usual protest to the ArosBB Game Commission, we do not find it fair that people are alowed to bring in big rocks to the game. Jønke "troll slayer" sent Iathalon hurting missing the next game, he was far more lucky than Authalon who was killed by Stig Tøfting and Koameurun who was taken down permanently by Kurt Kubik. A good portion of winnings allowed us to hire Oathulin to the team, and the fans seem to like our overall performance in the game since our fan tree back home got visisted 20% more after this game. After the game the two wardancers Sitheiren and Kerakhn went missing, and our investigation team now belives that they were abducted by our Fredsduerne under a contract by Bad Moon Backstabbers, the wardancers of course managed to escape their captors but it seems death was coming for them anyhow.

Even with the cassulties against Fredsduerne we were optimistic knowing that our next game Twilight Glade Runners - Bad Moon Backstabbers (season XIII, round 4), them being only goblins we were certain that they could not hurt us any... unfortunately we were sadly mistaken. Within the first few minuts of the game the goblin Cashan Starback killed of wardancer Kerakhn and shortly thereafter the troll Brickskull (N)everdodge killed lineelf Iethalon, which led to the first touchdown by goblin Geiler Lömmel. Oathulin managed to score 2 Touch Downs, send a goblin of the field and even threw the ball succesfuly 2 times before the second batch of deaths fell upon us from the troll Brickskull (N)everdodge killing first the legendary wardancer Sitheiren and not long after lineelf Eothalon fell to the heavy handed punishment dished out a PLENTY by the troll.

Thus it is with regret that we have to inform our fans that the remaining including new team star Oathulin have been taken of the roster to make sure that the team can go on with a new compliment of players.

Sep. 14th, 2004 - old news
Round 1 of the 13th season went great, we managed to win round 1 Filthy dusin - Twilight Glade Runners (season XIII, round 1), by scoring 3 touchdowns.
Wardancer Sitheiren made good progress by taking the lead with 2 touchdowns.
Wardancer Kerakhn spendt quite a while laying flat on his back, but did manage to make 1 touchdown and was close to making yet another, but for unknown reasons deceided to lay down again in the final minutes of the game.
Maybe he slipped due to the raging blizzard that fell over the stadium mid way in the second half.

The coach of our opponent the Filthy dusin had his share of problems getting the troll Hui to do much of anything, mostly Hui was just standing around seemingly wondering why he was on the field, he did how ever manage to send two of our players of the field but without any permanent damage. Also orc Blitzer Androfag and Blackorc Breakage each sent an elf off the field again with no permanent damage.

Two undisclosed line elfs also decieded to trip over their feet but they will be ready for the next match.

Line Elf Iothalon sent orc Blitzer Volcanus of the field with a hurting jaw and he will not be returning until atleast round 3.

Even with all this it seemed like few of the 30.000 fans that came to see the match were happy, both team could see some of their fans throw away their caps and banners.

Ohh and any reports by the wizard controlled media about our field coach really being a human dressed up in skin tight clothes, wearing makeup, a wig and fake pointy ears are ofcourse all lies made up by the other teams in an attempt to lower the morale.
