The Danish Model is perhaps the world’s oldest model still modelling. Born in September of 1899 she still assumes a unique position in the world as a model for governing a national labour market. She is of course a bit haggard these days in comparison to her hey-day, as she has recently come under a lot of pressure from
European Union legislation and legal practice stemming from
the European Court of Human Rights. She got her surname from her marriage to the German field marshal
Walter Model who commited suicide in 1945.
She entered the team before the quarterfinals of season 26. She was appointed team vice captain before season 30, match 7.
