It should have been an easy victory for Divine Rats, but a blunder from the coach, a no brain Rat Ogre and a brilliant move by Eldril Sidewinder, forced the rats to be happy with tying the match in the dying seconds…
Apart from the confused elf catcher the Bunnies also hired Prince Moranion although he did not become so important during the match.
But the rats already had problems in the first turn, where the coach was so sleepy he was called for an illegal procedure. This then resulted in a failed catch by Holy Spirit on a hand off from Jesus. The ball was, however, just out of reach of BBB, but when Muhammad tried to make himself more than twice as strong as the lone Bunny standing against him, it suddenly occurred that Guillo-Tine was quite strong, and bam double both down, and his loner mentality ensured that he went down! And thus a TD for 1-0 were scored with ease in DR's receiving turn by Carmen Körler.
But that should be the last she made this match, cause when she were forced to leap next drive she fell and were BH in the crash. And this time Holy Spirit managed the catch and tied 1-1 in the middle of the half.
And then DR came blitzing out and it was no problem to surround Jesus who stopped under the ball close to the LoS and when he caught it BBB gave up on that half and ran away. So Jesus stalled at the EZ and scored for 1-2 in the last turn.
And a perfect defence ensured that the bunnies could not even try a one turner. But instead strong bonny Guillo-Tine once again was up against Muhammad and this time she attacked him - and killed him. Luckily for DR the appotech could set the ogres head back on, and that kept him playing for the rest of the match.
In 2nd half the Bunnies received and attacked down the pitch. However, the two catchers were in the TZ of diving tackling, tackler God. But this did not bother them, and first Ann Tenna Kabell dodged out and went to the EZ, then Ko Π completed a long bomb to Polly Styrén who then dodged out and handed it to Ann Tenna Kabell for the tying TD. 2-2. She learned to side step from this!
Again Jesus had the ball far back and protected by two others, so he expected to be safe. But no no, Eldril Sidewinder the loner, dodged into 2 TZs and went all he could to take a hit on the blodger, and then with a little team help he managed to take down Jesus. The ball then bounced to him and the as the catcher he is he caught it.
With a player like Holy Spirit on the team it was no problem to get the ball free, but he was so far away that he needed help to get there, and when Jesus then had acquired the ball he fell on a dodge, and this gave Polly Styrén a chance to get the bunnies ahead 3-2.
Next drive Muhammad got his revenge BHing Guillo-Tine and a completion by Jesus ensured that God could tie 3-3. Also Ko Π had been KOed by Zeus and when she did not come back the bunnies were tested.
So this time Lone Star had to make a long pass and the ball was run down pitch and handed to Ann Tenna Kabell. But leaping in came Holy Spirit and he striped her of the ball, but it ended in 3 TZ and Jesus could not make it there. And then Ann Tenna Kabell blitzed herself away from Muhammad and dodged into a TZ to take the ball and then after leaping out and a dodge she scored for 4-3.
But the attack by Holy Spirit at least forced the Bunnies to score early so DR had two turns left to tie and a touch back gave Jesus the possibility to run within scorings reach in a cage, and when a dodge then failed, it was just weak armoured (but back for her KO) Ko Π who where in the way. She was taken down, and then Jesus could score without further problems and the match ended 4-4.
For her valiant effort and for breaking the 50 completion mark Ko Π received the Bunnies MVP whereas Jesus received DR's for his two TDs, and this took him above the 100 spp, as the first after restarting of the teams.
