Match notes
In front of a huge crowd the Guardians and the Divine clashed a 2nd time. To even the difference in value SG had hired a mercenary line elf with tackle. But he ended up spending most of the match in the KO box.

The sweltering heat gave the players problems throughout the match, and often two or even three players from a team collapsed between drives. But this was no issue at the first kick-off where DR received and quickly set the pace for a two turn TD.

But wait what happened there. Muhammad went down with his opponent and this opened up for Silven Morningfall to blitz ball carrier Buddha and with a go for it he got the ball. He were, however, still within the reach of Holy Spirit, but he had problems with both the needed go for it, and never made the blitz. Hence a give away TD could be scored by Silven Morningfall and the elves were up 1-0 in DR's receiving.

The fans did not like this and got the ref, and from then some fouling took place. And DR tried again, and this time Muhammad was not asked to block, and in the second turn of the drive, a path was cleared and Holy Spirit could score the tieing TD 1-1.

The elves had no serious problem scoring for 2-1 with Silven Morningfall again, but they were forced to do so leaving DR two turns to tie. Partly because Tyr managed to foul Faelar Brightstar BH.

DR then managed to get the two runners they had ready down in to scoring position, and on the way Odin A blitzed Jastra Dawnbringer down killing him in the process. The apo prevented the kill but the elf will miss next match none the less. From this the linerat learned guard. The turn then took a bad turn ;) with Thor A taking a double skull on Amileth Rainpool and this cracked his skull reducing his AV.

The elves could only take one runner down, and then try to cover Madonna. With an elf catcher in front of the runner, Buddha made the pass to Odin A who after his kill were up for the task (with a little help) and he then handed it to Madonna who took it with nerves of stele and dodged twice through TZ to get to the EZ and tie the first half 2-2. She learned catch from this.

In 2nd half DR only fielded 10 players as amongst other Holy Spirit had collapsed in the heat. This happened to none of SG's players and when they began with Kalan Lightbringer blitzing God BH and following this with a KO it was 11 vs. 8. But two quick KOs on the two tackle players evened the score. The elves, however, did stay ahead the entire half, and also Madonna was eventually KOed. But the elves were constantly under attack, and at one point Zeus managed to knock ball carrier Silven Morningfall down. But the ball ended amongst many TZ, and next turn the elves could clear a path and Silven Morningfall got the ball back. And even when Zeus BH Hacathra Brightfire DR could do nothing to prevent the elves from stalling and scoring for 3-2 in their last turn. From completions during the match Belath Fartower obtained accurate and Hacathra Brightfire got block.

But with Holy Spirit ready from a half in the reserve box, a one turn TD were possible. Only 8 rats were left, but against only 6 elves. The heat and the match had taken it's toll on the 26 players ready for 1st drive. It was the right players DR had left. Muhammad finally managed to take an opponent down. This left just those 4 players needed to fill the gaps, and then Loke made the push back blitz needed, and Holy Spirit was within scoring reach. Buddha then made it three in a row when he completed the pass, and two go for it later Holy Spirit tied the match 3-3 with his and the teams first one turner!
