Match notes
From the result the match may seem even, but after a first half, where Divine Rats were close to getting ahead 2-1 in Dodgers receiving half, the rats took command of second half. After recovering from a blitz, and by taking 3 out KO in one turn, they got the possibility to safely stall the match for the remaining time and could score for 2-1, leaving only 8 humans for their last turn, and no one-turn attempt were made.

DR did not get of to a very good start, when they kicked to Dodgers. First Muhammad just stood and roared when he should blitz, and on the only other block, nothing happened. So exceptional agile Kress von Kressenstein could keep the ball safely in a cage. After a few turns a change of sides, gave Dodgers some more air, especially as the first dodge from Holy Spirit through a TZ failed. A desperate attempt to stop them by God almost succeeded, but not quite and in turn 6 Kress von Kressenstein scored for 0-1.

3 turns was plenty for DR, and already in turn 2 Jesus passed to his mum Madonna who with a single dodge could tie the match 1-1.

This was the expected score at half time, but a riot confused the ref, and suddenly there were two turns left for both teams. And when Alexander von Kluck took a double skull and got BH by Loke DR suddenly had the chance to get ahead. (The apo got the lineman back on his feet, knowing there were a hired apo in reserve for later). But later was soon cause after the ball was recovered by dodgers Crown Prince Rupprecht tried to dodge away from Muhammad and a prehensile tail smacked him to the ground and broke his hip, so bad that the rookie apo could do nothing about it.

Now it should be easy for DR to score, as Holy Spirit just needed to be dauntless and then not take a skull, but he did the last, and RR it into another skull ending the first half.

Second half the advantage on kick-off once again changed to the kicking team, when Dodgers came out blitzing and Kress von Kressenstein pushed it down to the ball and caught it. But he was all by himself, and it was no problem (this time) for Holy Spirit to get him down, and God passed the ball to his son Jesus who ran it out of reach. God learned diving tackle from this important pass.

Buddha fouled Kress von Kressenstein stunned, and next turn after the ball was safely with God again in a cage, dirty Tyr fouled the catcher BH. He was thrown out by the ref, but it seemed a good exchange to get rid of the extremely agile player. When next turn 3 blocks resulted in 3 KOs, DR was suddenly 10 vs. 7 on pitch, and with a babe in the dogout to help them back, a new plan was deviced, and DR kept the ball safe in a cage the rest of the match.

Only mishap was when God tried to hand the ball to rookie Madonna who failed miserably to get it, but luckily the ball bounced to Holy Spirit who did catch it. But he could have been blitzed, but only if a dodge could have been made, and it did not. So in the second last turn Holy Spirit managed to get the ball successfully to Madonna, and there were no way for the 6 remaining humans to get to it. Instead they tried to get revenge by fouling Muhammad but a double 1 send Alexander von Kluck out without doing any damage.

In the last turn Madonna scored her second TD winning the match 2-1 and has now learned to control her nerves better!
It was a great match for DR, especially as their apo saved Jesus from a smashed hip and a MNG when he fell on an easy dodge in the middle of 2nd half.

A last turn completion gave Erich Ludendorff the kick skill, and the MVP for DR gave Odin wrestle.
