In a tight game were the somewhat higher valued Divine Rats had most of the chances, a whole bunch of 1s, ensured Dungheap jinx a late tie.

To help reduce the advantage of the rats, jinx had hired chainsaw wielder Max Spleenripper and a mercenary rotter. But they were not of much help.

DR received and the first 1 came when Jesus needed help to complete a pass to God. But with that managed God was moved into scoring position, and next turn a few well placed blocks opened up for God, who avoided a 1 over the EZ for 1-0.

DJ then received, and had trouble of their own, when the first go for it resulted in a 1, but also this was RR. Max stunned a line rat with his saw, but that was to much for Muhammad who blitzed him down, and with the chainsaw going through his armour the mighty blow took Max out KO and hence out of the match with his secret weapon.

DJ moved down pitch, but suddenly there were an opening for Holy Spirit, and after 3 great block it was no problem for him to get to ball carrier Infestus, and even with a 1 on the dauntless roll, he managed two arrows (opponents choice) and stripped the ball, which bounced through God and out into the open. From here God managed a quick pass to Jesus who then had the ball out of reach.

Now it looked bright for DR who did not even feel botherd by the fact that Buddha and Loke had both been BH by Filth Jaw. And it looked like it would soon be 2-0. But just before Jesus was ready to run for a pass to God down pitch, the latter decided to take one more go for it to be out of reach of tackler Jeff and BAM double 1.

Suddenly everything was changed. Especially since Avada Kedavra managed to take Jesus down BHing him and releasing the ball (learning him a new skill). Now it was DR who had to ensure DJ did not tie before half time. But when first Odin dodged out and KOed the only real threat for a TD, and afterwards Zeus single-handedly overcame his revulsion and took down the only other “scoring threat”, the beast it self, Plague Spreader, clawing him stunned the half ended 1-0.

With only 8 players DR got ready to defend for 2nd half just hoping for a tie, but when the Gods devoted fans invaded the pitch stunning 7 of the 11 nurgle players, touching no Gods, a 2-0 score was again possible. But then the 1s started to roll in.

In order to get to the ball carrier a few block was needed, but the foul appearance of the opponents first stopped Muhammad and then Zeus even with a RR (three 1s and no TO, but also no opening). A turn later a RR was spend for another 1 so Muhammad would also block his frenzy block against a foul player, and thus he subsequently pushed the tentacle beast Plague Spreader away from the two gutter runners, and they were in the game again. When Muhammad then proceeded to kill Dark Spew (who failed to regenerate) things looked bright again for DR.

Next turn Holy Spirit used his dauntless succesfully, but had to RR a skull before taking down ball carrier Infestus getting the ball free. But yet another foul player halted a block that could have given DR access to the ball.

However, the ball was still on the ground next turn, as it was hard to pick up without RR in a TZ, and Muhammad could then blitz his TZ on to the ball, with just one go for it, (no RR left on any team), but BAM a 1 again. However, he could have put his TZ on the ball carrier with yet another blitz next turn, but DAMN 1 on the wild animal roll.

Finally it was DJs turn to roll a 1, but it was not a TO. The beast, who had just failed his really stupid roll the turn before, for the first time! but only because he had no help, was no so disorientated that even with a little help from a friend he still rolled a 1, hence no tentacle on God who could now easily put his mean side stepping blodging TZ on the ball carrier with only one go for it, but BAM a 1 again, and hence no problem for Infestus to tie the game in the last turn.

As Void Maw had also niggled the DR journeyman just before this, and two KOs out of 3 failed to come back, DR only had 5 players and needed a quick snap to even get a chance of a one turner, and this did not happen ending the match 1-1.

Both MVP gave new skills to Plague Spreader and Jesus (sure hands).
